Biography: Yang Yue, Professor, PhD supervisor, School of Information and Communication Engineering, Xi 'an Jiaotong University, SPIE Fellow, IEEE/Optica Senior member, National Young Talent Program candidate, founder of Intelligent Photon Application Technology Laboratory (iPatLab) and current PI. He is committed to the basic and applied research in the field of intelligent photonics such as optical communication, light perception, and optical chips. He received his bachelor's degree in Electronic Information Science and Technology and Master's degree in optics from Nankai University in 2004 and 2007, respectively, and his Doctor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California in 2012. After graduation, he worked for Silicon Valley Semiconductor Company and network equipment company. In 2021, he was selected into Xi 'an Jiaotong University's "Young Top Talent Support Program". He has published more than 260 papers (including Science), including nearly 20 invited papers, applied for and authorized more than 60 patents (including 25 US patents, 9 European patents, and more than 30 authorized patents), edited 6 English books and 2 English book chapters, and cited more than 10,000 times by Google Academic. He was invited to give more than 200 lectures (including 1 Tutorial,30 Plenary sessions and 50 Keynote sessions). He has presided over nearly 10 national, provincial and ministerial level and enterprise horizontal scientific research projects, with a total fund of more than 10 million yuan. He is an Associate editor of IEEE Access, Frontiers in Physics, an editorial board member of four academic journals, including Sensors and J. Lightw. Technol. He has been guest editor of special issues for more than 10 times, chairman of international conferences and members of technical committees for more than 100 times, and reviewer of more than 70 academic journals.

Biography: Dr.Shiling Zhang is currently the editorial board member of the Chinese core journal "Insulation Materials" of Peking University and the editorial board member of the Chinese core journal "Electrical Technology". He was awarded by IEEE Power & Energy Society China Technical Council as the “Power System Instrumentation & Measurement Satellite Committee-China” and “Innovative Sensing domestic and foreign and Monitoring Techniques Subcommittee” director. He also serves on the IEEE PES Substations Satellite Committee.. Director of the IEEE New Sensing and Monitoring Technology Sub-Committee, won the title of the State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company Youth May 4th Medal, the State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company Outstanding Communist Party Member, and the 2022 State Grid Corporation Science and Technology Support Youth (a total of 50 nationwide Nominated for the 2021 Top Young Talents in Chongqing.

Biography: Prof. Pascal Lorenz received his M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) from the University of Nancy, France. Between 1990 and 1995 he was a research engineer at WorldFIP Europe and at Alcatel-Alsthom. He is a professor at the University of Haute-Alsace, France, since 1995. He is the author/co-author of 3 books, 3 patents and 200 international publications in refereed journals and conferences. He was Technical Editor of the IEEE Communications Magazine Editorial Board (2000-2006), IEEE Networks Magazine since 2015, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology since 2017, Chair of IEEE ComSoc France (2014-2020), Financial chair of IEEE France (2017-2022), Chair of Vertical Issues in Communication Systems Technical Committee Cluster (2008-2009), Chair of the Communications Systems Integration and Modeling Technical Committee (2003-2009), Chair of the Communications Software Technical Committee (2008-2010) and Chair of the Technical Committee on Information Infrastructure and Networking (2016-2017). Biography: Qingsheng Zeng received his Ph.D. from University of Ottawa, Canada, and is currently a professor and PhD advisor of Université du Québec an Outaouais (UQO), an adjunct professor and PhD advisor of University of Ottawa, Carleton University, and Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique -- Centre Energie, Matériaux et Télécommunications (INRS-EMT). He has been a research engineer and a senior research engineer at Communications Research Centre Canada (CRC), Government of Canada. Dr. Zeng has undertaken research and teaching in several fields, including analysis and design of aircraft antennas, electromagnetic compatibility and interference (EMC/EMI), ultrawideband technology, radio wave propagation, computational electromagnetics. He has been the Chair of AP (Antennas and Propagation) / MTT (Microwave Theory and Techniques) Joint Chapter and Secretary of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) Chapter of IEEE Ottawa, a Member of IEEE Canada Industry Relations Committee, and a senior member of IEEE. Dr. Zeng has been a member of the Strategic Projects Grant (SPG) Selection Panel (Information and Communications Technologies B) for the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), a member of Site Visit Committee of NSERC Industrial Research Chair (IRC), and a reviewer of NSERC Industrial R&D Fellowships.

Biography: Hong-Yu Ren is the associate professor and doctoral supervisor in School of Environment, Harbin Institute of Technology. He received his BS, MD and PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China. After his PhD, he performed postdoctoral studies at the Harbin Institute of Technology, and visiting scholar studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research interests mainly include algae biofuels and high-value products, anaerobic fermentation/digestion, energy and resource recovery, biological treatment processes, sludge treatment and advanced oxidation process. He has published more than 80 research papers in international referred journals. He served as an editorial board member for Water, and was the Guest Editor for Water and Energies.
